Making Learning Visible in an AI-Enabled World

As generative AI reshapes how people learn and work, English education is being asked to demonstrate value beyond language knowledge alone. It is increasingly expected to support learners in connecting their growth to society, future careers, and lifelong learning.

This event brings together perspectives from language education, career development, and classroom practice to explore how English education in Japan can remain relevant in the AI era. Participants will examine how learning, assessment, and employability can be connected as one continuous journey.

Anchored by expert voices in CEFR/Can-Do-based education, AI-enabled language learning, career development, and young learner pedagogy, the event creates a space for educators and institutional leaders to consider how clearer goals, richer evidence of progress, and future-ready skills can support more effective teaching and learning beyond the classroom.
